Conroe Today, Carefree Boat Club, and The Island on Lake Conroe coordinate networking 'blenders'

CONROE, Texas -- Conroe Today, Carefree Boat Club, and The Island on Lake Conroe, are having another summer ‘blender’on Friday, September 20. The event will be held again in the beautiful Energie Lounge at La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature music, boats, complimentary appetizers, in addition to an open bar. Call La Torretta for confirmation in the event of inclement weather.

The concept was initiated by Carefree Boat Club and Clear Lake Today, an affiliate of Conroe Today. The ‘blenders’ have been hugely successful in the southeast area of Houston at Outriggers. The networking socials have been so popular in Clear Lake that they’ve become the area’s premier networking parties of the summer, drawing bigger crowds each time.

“I think back on all the blenders we’ve done and I can only think of two when we didn’t pack Outriggers,” said Clear Lake Today General Manager, Doug Meisinger. “Our smallest crowds were bigger than most mixers I’ve attended. I think what sets our mixers apart is the diversity of the businesses involved. We partner up with a diverse group of businesses to ensure we get a great turnout, and people just love boats.”

The Conroe ‘blenders’ will also feature The Island on Lake Conroe, one of the area’s most beautiful lakefront developments.
