CONROE, TX -- The stage is set for an uproarious exploration of love, marriage, and the chaos that ensues in the highly anticipated Players Theatre Company production of Bedroom Farce by Alan Ayckbourn. This acclaimed comedic masterpiece brings together a whirlwind of quirky characters and intertwined relationships, all unfolding over one night in three bedrooms. With sharp wit and impeccable timing, Bedroom Farce promises to be a riotous rollercoaster of humor, heart, and unexpected revelations with performances running from January 24 through February 9 at the Owen Theatre, downtown Conroe.

Bedroom Farce weaves together the lives of four couples, each facing their own personal crisis and all taking place within the intimate confines of three interconnected bedrooms. Over the course of one evening, the characters' lives collide in a series of hilarious misunderstandings, miscommunications, and emotional revelations, revealing the absurdity of domestic life and the complexity of relationships.

“This show is a brilliant balance of laughter and poignancy,” said Director Jean Ciampi, who also directed Leading Ladies with The Players last season. “Although it explores very relatable themes, it does so while keeping everyone in absolute stitches. It’s the perfect comedy and the perfect cast to bring it to life. It’s the belly laugh we all need right now!”

The cast features Mandy Hall and Jamie Ballard as the neurotic and bumbling “Susannah” and “Trevor” who have destroyed the housewarming party of their friends “Kate” and “Malcolm,” played by Cindy Siple and Jeff Merriman. Mix in an ex-girlfriend “Jan,” played by Erin Wright and her bedridden husband “Nick,” played by Shawn Havranek and Trevor’s parents, played by Peggy Sampson and Mark Wilson, and it’s an all-star cast pulling out all the stops.

The production runs from January 24 to February 9 at The Owen Theatre, 225 Metcalf in downtown Conroe. Performances are at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday nights and 2:30 for Sunday matinees. Bedroom Farce is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Tickets are currently available by calling the box office at (936) 539-4090 Tuesday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm or online at www.PlayersTheatreCompany.com. The box office is also open two hours before each performance and the theatre is located at 225 Metcalf Street, Conroe.

The Players Theatre Company began in 1967 as The Little Theatre of Conroe utilizing the Conroe High School stage and later a refurbished plumbing supply store at the corner of Galveston and Robertson Streets. After helping to restore the historic Crighton Theatre in 1979, the group produced shows there for nearly 30 years as The Crighton Players. In 2008, in a partnership with the City of Conroe, The Players Theatre Company was formed and moved to their current residence at The Owen Theatre.
