Bell Metcalf changes made throughout

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On the same night as President Donald Trump gave his overwhelmingly successful address to a Joint Session of Congress, two so-called ‘Republican’ State Representatives, Cecil Bell, Jr, (District-3), and Will Metcalf, (District-16), were being censured by the Montgomery County Republican Party by a vote of 52-32 in a countywide censure that passed by the MCRP Executive Committee. It was a landslide vote, and shows that while the DC Swamp is being drained, the Texas Swamp is being shored up with the help of thirty plus lost Republicans and Democrats. Subsequent steps involved in the censure process take place at the District and State Republican Ex-Comms. Metcalf was elected in 2014 to replace Brandon Creighton’s seat after his election to the Texas Senate.
Now, admittedly, I haven’t paid attention to state or county politics as much as I have to nationally. And that’s on me. And I apologize. We all had a comfortable feeling in our own home, in letting the maid handle the cleaning of the house, until we ourselves pulled up the blinds and saw the dust and mold build up, and wondered what the hell we are paying for. I had no idea what was going on, until several months ago, when one of my state issues cousins in Bentwater, a sizable donor to Governor Greg Abbott, and who meets with him on occasion throughout the year, invited me for dinner at the Bentwater Country Club. Next time, I’ll suggest some other place. That was the first bad omen of the evening. The second was our conversation about Will Metcalf.
Now I've met Mr. Metcalf at various non-political events over the years, getting quotes based on what was going on at the scene of whatever event was being attended to. My policy is to generally keep politics printed in the Montgomery County News to page four, or the editorials and opinions page. MCN should not be reporting about politicians to spite them off of the OP-ED page. We are just a little weekly, trying to keep news personal, local and interesting; perhaps offering a little day trip to Conroe, The Woodlands, Houston or the surrounding counties to visit a restaurant, or take in a festival, museum or show. Now, of course I volunteer with Democrats in non-political activities, but I make it a habit of not to talk about politics, or even broach the subject. Incensement levels can rise, and I pound and pound on Dem talking points, that are so easily predictable. And of course, pretty much everyone knows my story that I was exposed to hardcore Democrat politics (aka Communism) as a young soldier.
I quickly learned about planned economies, reduced civil rights, and equality for all in misery for everyone that Communist citizens endured, in my late teens in West Germany. And with occasional visits to East Berlin, I learned that you don’t get your choice of toilet paper at the grocery store, if it was even on the shelves. And being leftist government made toilet paper, it was far from being comfortable, having to look (and feel) out for wood spikes if you wanted to clean yourself without blood. Well, that’s what the proletariat got. The elites got the Charmin. That’s what I learned about Democrat run economies and I’ve never forgotten it.
Even today, we can see the sameness of Communists in Democrats. The recent videos of Chuck Schumer, Pelosi, and other Dems, being bandied about showing them as puppets saying the same thing is ridiculous. They read the same cards and do the same actions for videos that their handlers want, which shows they are nothing but puppets for their ruler. And that’s supposed to impress who? Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are not the top two so-called ’ ‘men’ ‘ in charge of the Democrats, but now with USAID gone, exactly who is in charge of the Democrats is not so easily defined. They're, for lack of a better word, are, wait for it, discombobulated. I’ve already disinherited one niece from my will for becoming a socialist coming from a Conservative household. The University of North Texas is the devil’s school as far as I’m concerned. So you think me letting Will Metcalf off the hook will be OK? He knew what he was doing in supporting Democrats. He’s a 40 year old man, and his band of RINOs disappoint me. If he would have earned his way he might have a different mindset. I know people like Metcalf can’t get elected in our area running as Democrats, so they run as Republicans, and this is how we learn of their true intentions.
I don’t know Metcalf’s motivations for working with Democrats, perhaps money. I’m not gonna go into the back-room bankers deal and smoky rooms that brought about this business. And if it’s monetary greed, then what do they have on him? That’s as far as I’m going, because it’s for the people to decide who will be the next District 16 State Representative in the 2026 GOP Primary. And I promise you, I will be paying attention, and endorsing a true Conservative to represent us. I’m sure the folks in District 3 will be doing the same. The rats' nest has been lit up, and like at the Chicken Ranch, the rodents are scrambling.
I know this piece is gonna make some Metcalf supporters uneasy, and possibly mad. And guess what. I don’t care. I’ve already seen the possibilities of what Democrats are capable of as a kid. If you don’t like what I said, F your feelings. Besides, I’ll find out the next time I see you. If I get the cold shoulder, uph, Metcalf supporter. Texas Swamp supporter. No skin off my nose. But I can tell you … I’m not the one that’s gonna need a therapist.
RINOs are like a cancer in the body, and it needs to be cut out immediately. I’ve had cancer, and it takes its toll. Cut that cancer out so you can survive and heal, and get to greener pastures. Heck, I thought I’d be dead by now, but I’m thriving. But I’m still trying to understand the motivations of Metcalf, Bell and the other RINOs? I’ve always said that Democrats never consider the Consequences to Their Actions. Did Metcalf take that train of thought? It sounds like it to me.
I’m always thinking. Like when going to the kitchen for something, is there something else that needs to get done along the way or could I bring something back to save on a further trip. Or when driving, I’m calculating where cars will be. Not where they are now. Heck, I don’t even leave the left lane to exit until I get a quarter mile to the way-out. 99.5% percent of driver’s haven’t driven on the Autobahn, and don’t understand the yin and yangs of cars yo-yoing, allowing for opportunities to exit faster, much faster than the chumps stuck a half mile back waiting patiently in line, trying not to make waves. Well, I like making ways. I rock the boat, especially when idiocy is being portrayed as common sense. So, you damn right I’m gonna rock the boat.
Will Metcalf is damaged goods now, best left on the discount aisle for the lowest bidder, because I (nor You) can’t trust a traitor, and I hope you will see what I’m saying. I will not vote for a man or woman, whose ideas have been compromised, whose foundation is cracked. How can you build on that? It’s impossible.
The censure was brought about Metcalf’s support of Representative Dustin Burrows, the current Texas House Speaker. Now Burrows, even when presented with a majority of power, still wants to share it with people who do not share the values of the Texas Republican Party, nor do they emit Love for Texas or America. In 2023, Burrows gave some Democrats chairmanships of some subcommittees, which is like General Eisenhower in WWII, giving the NAZIs a subcommittee chairmanship on Better Living Conditions for Jewish prisoners at Death Camps. In 2025, the Democrat subcommittee chairmanships were gone, but Burrows appointed Speaker Pro Tempore Joe Moody, Democrat from El Paso, for when Burrows conveniently leaves Austin. So be looking for Burrows to leave the Capitol on important issues for Democrats. And it's by RINO design what is going on now in Austin. Metcalf and Bell have their hands in this mess by their own choosing, and to even think they could get away with it is beyond me. That’s arrogance to me, and I loath arrogance.
The censure was rightly voted on by the MCRP Executive Committee. People have a right to know if their state representatives have leftist intentions. Metcalf was elected by the people of District 16, a strong Conservative district in the heart of Montgomery County. His betraying of Conservative values, if Metcalf ever had any, is unforgivable, and a cardinal sin. Democrats in the past, before they started hating Our Country, were able to compromise to get things done. Not today. The Democrat mindset has gone so far left, that it needs to go to the looney bin where it belongs. Yielding to Dems is madness. To work with Dems is outright lunacy. To vote with them? Really? The only sane Democrats (if there are still any) are now in Trump’s cabinet. RINO’s have to hate Republican and Conservative Values so much, or either be their slaves to money or compromising pictures they have on you. I’m not saying that about either Metcalf or Bell, but it’s very much possible.
Metcalf and Bell have their supporters who will stick with them, but I believe most will understand the severity and the gravity of the situation, and move on to new horizons. Vistas where Democrats are not in control, because if you give a Dem one inch, they will take a mile. Look how Democrats acted at President Trump’s speech the other week. No decorum or adultness about them whatsoever. They treated little DJ Daniel, the Houston kid Trump honored, like he was a fetus about to be aborted. And Metcalf and Bell want to work with those people? People who love snatching viable life to its death, and allowing illegal aliens into Our Country to kill people like Laken Riley, whose family was also dissed by the Democrats at the same speech.
So, after reading my diatribe, I've forced myself to write to keep Conservative values in Montgomery County and Texas alive. You have a choice with Bell and Metcalf?
Do you want to be a future slave to Democrats?
Or,
Do You Want To Be Free?
