Conroe Today, Carefree Boat Club, and The Island on Lake Conroe coordinate networking 'blender.'

CONROE, Texas -- Conroe Today is teaming up with Carefree Boat Club and The Island on Lake Conroe to throw a couple of summer ‘blenders.’ The events will be held in the beautiful Energie Lounge at La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa. Kickoff party is July 26, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature music, boats, complimentary appetizers, in addition to an open bar.

The concept was spawned by Conroe Today’s affiliate, Clear Lake Today, who initiated the ‘blenders’ with Carefree Boat Club, in the southeast area of Houston at Outriggers. The networking socials have proven successful for the past few years in Clear Lake and have become the area’s premier networking parties of the summer, drawing bigger crowds each time.

“I think back on all the blenders we’ve done and I can only think of two when we didn’t pack Outriggers,” said Clear Lake Today General Manager, Doug Meisinger. “Our smallest crowds were bigger than most mixers I’ve attended. I think what sets our mixers apart is the diversity of the businesses involved. We partner up with a diverse group of businesses to ensure we get a great turnout, and people just love boats.”
