MCABW monthly training seminar to feature Quickbooks overview
CONROE, Texas -- CPA Carlotta Lansford says Quickbooks is an essential tool for all business owners. Lansford will share her tips on how to master the software program during the monthly breakfast meeting of the Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW).
Her presentation, “Quikbooks Preferences,” is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the office of Dr. Arroyo, 1111 Medical Plaza Dr, Ste. 110 in The Woodlands, 77380.
“I firmly believe that you have to know your cash position on a daily basis – it is a need to know in order to make good decisions,” Lansford said. “I have a saying that cash is KING – you have to know what your future bills will be and what you have today and what is coming in to make good financial decisions.”
She explained that Quickbooks allows entrepreneurs to trend sales, look at comparative data, budget and forecast based on different scenarios.
“It is a wonderful, robust program for the money if you use it efficiently,” she added.
A charter member of the MCABW, Lansford said she re-joined the group three months ago. “I am looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved in the community more,” she said.
The group holds a mixer the second Thursday of each month as well as a monthly luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. The group also hosts a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of the month. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.
