MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) will host the group’s monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, at the Incredible Pizza Company.

Ann Engelbrecht, owner of Sprout Fine Floral Concepts, will serve as a guest speaker.

Her store, located at 1018 Sawdust Rd., specializes in fresh floral presentations designed with artistic details. The flowers are flown in from around the world and hand-selected locally to ensure they meet the highest standards.

Her topic will be “Halfway through the year, halfway to success?”

“June is a good time to take stock of annual goals,” Engelbrecht said. “Reflection and redirection gives the year a sense of forward motion, and making progress is a big part of happiness.”

She will share how to conduct a “S.W.O.T. analysis.”

Engelbrecht explained that the acronym stands for “Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threat.”

“Taking time to do a SWOT is actually kind of fun,” she said. “It won’t take much time, and doing it forces you to think about your business in a whole new way.” Engelbrecht has been a member of the MCABW for four years.

“I really enjoy the sincerely gracious ladies who belong to the organization,” she said. “I have made many friendships here with women, who understand what it is like to balance building their businesses with having a rewarding real life.”

Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization. The restaurant is located at 230 South Loop 336 West in Conroe, Texas 77304.

The MCABW provides a forum for local businesswomen to support each other – both in their professional and personal lives. The MCABW provides its members networking connections, promotional resources and educational programs, as well as leadership and growth opportunities.

The group holds a networking luncheon the fourth Tuesday of every month, as well as a monthly breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of the month and a mixer on the second Thursday of the month.
