Central Taco will provide a taste of the restaurant’s menu at the entrance of the museum.

Music and dance performances from San Houston State University’s Ballet Folklorico are slated for 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Events coordinator Nan Price will play music at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The storybook times are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

“This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Mexican culture,” executive director Angela Colton said. “Our staff get really excited about sharing different cultures with the community and we’re really looking forward to making Cinco de Mayo an annual event.”

All activities are included in the cost of admission. Daily admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. Recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
