HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers, in collaboration with the Houston Police Department's Special Victims Division, is urgently seeking the public's assistance in locating a fugitive, Loretta Faye Norwood, wanted for the grave offense of Abandoning a Child Without Intent to Return.

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.

On Thursday, March 21, 2024, officers of the Houston Police Department responded to a distressing report of Child Abandonment within the confines of the 8400 Block of Winthrop Ln. in Houston, Texas. Preliminary investigations reveal that the victim, a defenseless 8 1/2 month old child, was deliberately left outdoors, perilously exposed to various risks of harm.

Loretta Norwood is a 23-year-old black female, 5'1" tall with brown eyes and black hair.
