Conroe ISD celebrates midyear graduates
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- Feeling of anticipation and cheers of excitement filled Conroe High School Auditorium Thursday evening at the Conroe ISD midyear graduation. Approximately fifty seniors from all six high schools graduated in a joint ceremony.
“This is an exciting time in these graduates’ lives and there are a number of people that helped them get here,” stated Gale Drummond, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools, prior to acknowledging parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and school faculty. She also recognized graduates planning to join the Armed Forces, current service men and women, and veterans.
Once the students crossed the stage to received their diplomas, they celebrated by throwing their hats into the air as Mrs. Drummond congratulated this “Class of 2013.” Conroe ISD is proud of their Caney Creek High School, Conroe High School, Hauke Academic High School, Oak Ridge High School, The Woodlands College Park High School and the Woodlands High School midyear graduates.
