Go Wild W Walk-On's - Friends of Tx Wildlife Event & Donation

CONROE, TX – Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux and Coca-Cola are teaming up and kicking the new year off with a big give to an unfunded non-profit that has served our area for 30 years. We'll be presenting Friends of Texas Wildlife with a $1,000 donation and hosting an animal hour featuring one of their animal ambassadors!

You’re invited to attend Go WILD with Walk-On’s and we’ll provide lunch for your reporter, too! Thursday, January 9 from 11:30 - 12:30 at Walk-On’s – 1000 Outpost Drive in Conroe.
Friends of Texas Wildlife stays busy, especially with the massive growth in our area. From wildlife injured by cars to loss of habitat, this rescue gives injured and orphaned wildlife a chance with rehabilitation, vet care, and release (when able). They help animals ranging from owls, possums, deer, turtles, squirrels, rabbits, etc.

We also have a drop-off of supplies at Walk-On's. Need an excuse to get new towels or blankets? Now's the time! We have a towel and blanket drive with a donation box in our restaurant.

This is a win for the public to meet cute critters, learn more about keeping them safe or what to do when encountering wildlife, and support a cause that many don’t know about or think about until they find an injured creature.
