MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Montgomery County has many charitable organizations with worthy missions that require funds to operate successfully. Local donations can only go so far, but being able to apply for grants offers a new way to obtain funding to achieve their mission. A local organization founded by Ed Ponikvar, Knowledge Point Network USA, is designed to help severely disabled veterans and their children with mobility and suicidal concerns.

Ponikvar has been a professional grant writer for decades, and has been successful in obtaining hundreds of millions of dollars in grants for multiple organizations across the United States. The KPN founder is now offering the ‘Dream Catcher Collaborative Grant Writing Workshop Series,’ starting on June 6th, 6:15 pm, at the Lone Star Community Center, located at 2500 Lone Star Parkway in Montgomery.

The Grant Writing Workshop is for area organizations that are interested in submitting grants to secure funding for their projects and initiatives. The 8 part series is designed to equip organizations with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the complex world of grant applications and management. Each session will cover essential aspects of grant writing and management with the goal for the participants to be proficient in securing grants for their organizations, as well as ensuring maximum compliance in grant closeout processes.

The proceeds from the workshop series will go to KPN as a tool to raise funds for new equipment, to maintain the trails of Montgomery County for the use of mobility impaired Veterans and their children.
