Domestic Disturbance Turns Fatal: Conroe Officers Forced to Use Lethal Force to Subdue Aggressive Male

CONROE, TX -- On March 11, 2024 at approx. 11:30 P.M., two Conroe officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 14700 block of Callard Ct in the Chapel Run subdivision. Upon their arrival, they received no response at the front door but could hear a female screaming inside. Officers made entry into the home and found a male engaged in a physical altercation with a female. The male was holding a weapon during this altercation. Officers tried to deescalate the situation but the male pointed the weapon at the officers and both officers discharged their weapons to stop his aggression. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. No officers were injured during the shooting. The female victim was uninjured. The incident is being investigated by Conroe Police Detectives and the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.


This investigation is active and no further information is available at this time. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
