MCTXSheriff Arrests Conroe Burglary Suspects

CONROE, TX -- On December 20, 2023, at about 2:00 p.m., Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office District 3 Patrol Division responded to the 20000 block of Old Houston Rd, Conroe, TX, in reference to a burglary in which over $12,000 of property was stolen from a residence. During the investigation, Deputies reviewed surveillance cameras, which captured two suspects stealing multiple tools and dirt bikes from the location before leaving the area in a light blue Kia Sedona.

On December 22, 2023, the owner of the stolen property contacted the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and advised that he located a light blue Kia Sedona occupied by two males who matched the suspect's description. Detectives with District 3 East Precinct arrived at the location and interviewed the two males, who were identified as 38-year-old Shane Null and 52-year-old Ronnie Rogers, both from Porter, TX. During the interview, Null and Rogers both confessed to the burglary and provided information about the location of the stolen property, which was eventually returned to its owner.

Null and Rogers were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Null was charged with Burglary of a Building and Possession of a Controlled Substance, and was issued a bond of $24,500. Rogers, who was identified as a habitual offender, was charged with Burglary of a Building and was issued a bond of $50,000.
