WANTED: Crime Stoppers reward offered in deadly hit and run

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.

Reward of up to $5,000 leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in this case.

On Monday, August 28, 2023, at approximately 11:22 p.m., Juan Ramirez Gutierrez was struck by a vehicle in the 900 block of S. Mason Rd. in Harris County, Texas. Mr. Gutierrez was riding a bicycle adjacent to the roadway, when he was it by the suspect(s) who then fled without rendering aid. Sadly, Mr. Gutierrez suffered major injuires and passed away as a result.

Police belive the suspects were driving a 2008 Ford Edge (unknown color). This vehicle will have damage to the front right side and will have a missing passenger's side mirror.
