Angel Reach to Rally for a Reason

CONROE, TX -- In an effort to set at-risk youth on the road to a positive and productive future, Angel Reach is hosting a Road Rally & Scavenger Hunt to be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, followed by a Finish Line Party and corn hole tournament. Registration is currently open and limited to the first 40 cars.

The Rally begins at 3:30pm at The Owen Theatre parking lot, 225 Metcalf Street, where participants will be given their first clue to find and collect items to create a Welcome Trunk for youth entering the Angel Reach programs. At each location, a new clue reveals the next stop and finishes at approximately 5:00pm at The B52 Brewery, 23470 Milory Lane in Conroe.

Each car, with as many passengers as can legally and safely fit, pays a $250 registration fee which benefits Angel Reach programs. Tickets are also available for those who only want to attend the Finish Line Party for $25 each and children under 12 are free. The event is family-friendly, and children are encouraged to participate! The Finish Line party will include food trucks, inflatables, games and a corn hole tournament.

“The young people we work with at Angel Reach have had a rocky road growing up in foster care. The Road Rally and Scavenger Hunt are a fun way to support their hard work in mapping a stronger, healthier course for their future,” said Jean Radach, Angel Reach Executive Director. “Along with raising much-needed funds, the Scavenger Hunt helps collect the items for our Welcome Trunks which provide necessities and comfort when they arrive with us.”

Angel Reach is a Montgomery County nonprofit focused on meeting the needs of youth who have aged out of the foster care system and those living with relatives in kinship homes.
