Sooner Container to soon celebrate 1st anniversary in Conroe

The name actually derives from the company’s origin, having originally incorporated in 1992 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, home of the Oklahoma University ‘Sooners.’ Four years later Sooner Container expanded to the city of Humble, but the business outstripped the capacity within 15 years. In 2011, the company purchased a 15-acre tract in Conroe Park North, the industrial park just north of the city. The 65,000-square foot facility was completed in less than a year, and they moved in, lock, stock, and barrels, approaching their first-year anniversary in the new facility.

In addition to barrels, their other industrial containers include paint cans, plastic bottles, plastic pails and drums, steel pails and drums, fiber drums, grease kegs, buckets, jugs, Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC's)/ tote tanks, and tools and accessories. Sooner Container stocks the most common UN and non UN rated containers used in today’s industries. To underscore their commitment to customer service, a large inventory is stocked and ready to ship to meet customer’s needs and deadlines.
