Mr. Handyman provides quality work, customer service to local clients

Mr. Handyman, owned by John and Laura Van Orden, is a franchise with a location here at home in The Woodlands. They offer home repairs as well as facility maintenance and light construction for commercial buildings.

“We specialize in all types of home and maintenance,” John Van Orden said. John and Laura Van Orden opened Mr. Handyman in the spring of 2007 after realizing a need of such a business in the area.

“[There were] lots of remodeling [businesses in the area], but we needed a service company,” John Van Orden said.

Mr. Handyman specializes in two-hour to two-day projects. From floor installation and repair to painting and leaking faucets, Mr. Handyman can tackle your home repair needs.

“We focus on quality and customer service, those are our two priorities,” John Van Orden said.

Part of the quality aspect that makes Mr. Handyman so unique is the quality of the technicians. Technicians have at least 15 years experience with most having close to 30 years of experience.

“We have extensive background checks [for our technicians],” John Van Orden said. “This gives our customers security.”

In addition, all technicians wear a company uniform.

“It’s a very professional appearance, especially for commercial and retail,” John Van Orden said.
