MCABW October monthly mixer announced
CONROE, Texas -- The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) will host their monthly mixer from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11 at Margarita & Peppers, 2239 N Loop 336 West in Conroe. Announcements and door prizes will start at 6 p.m.
Elena Nuñez from the Margarita & Peppers is co-sponsoring the event, with Aspire Behavioral Hospital of Conroe, a mental health and substance abuse treatment facility for adults 18 years or older. The facility offers innovative clinical services delivered by qualified mental health professionals.
Copies of the MCABW October magazine will be distributed at the mixer, with Aspire as the issue’s cover story.
MCABW founder and executive director Carol Gooch also serves as director of business development at Aspire.
Gooch said the MCABW mixers are a perfect setting for networking with local businesswomen.
“A mixer is a relaxed forum for the ladies to meet each other and get to know more about each other,” she said. “Building relationships is an important way to grow your business.”
The MCABW is an organization that provides a forum for local businesswomen to develop and enhance professional and personal relationships with their peers. The group holds a mixer the second Thursday of each month as well as a monthly luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. The group also hosts a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of the month. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.
