CONROE, Texas -- Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announced that their former Prudential affiliate located on Lake Conroe has merged its operations with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.
“Gary Richardson and Candace Joyner have done a great job of growing their market share on Lake Conroe and the surrounding areas, including Conroe, Willis and Montgomery,” said Mark Woodroof, partner with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. “We are delighted with their decision to join our company.”
Richardson, who has been a broker in the area for 30 years, will manage the Lake Conroe office. Joyner, a veteran of 13 years in the industry, will continue to serve clients in the area as one of the top five producers in the Lake Conroe, MLS Area 39.
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene is owned by Woodroof and Marilyn Eiland and is Houston’s leading residential real estate brokerage with closed sales of $1.58 billion in 2011. The brokerage has 20 offices in the Greater Houston area.
“All of our agents are excited and rejuvenated about the transition to the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network,” said Richardson. He added that he is actively recruiting for more agents.
“The innovative technology and superior marketing tools available through Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene will be valuable to us in both serving our clients and attracting top-rate agents. We feel very optimistic about the future of the Lake Conroe office and about the tremendous growth on the horizon for Montgomery County.”
Richardson is noticing some interesting trends in the area. “We are seeing couples moving to Lake Conroe from The Woodlands, once their children graduate from high school. After the kids are gone, they want the lifestyle of the serene Lake Conroe environment,” said Richardson.
“At the same time, we are also seeing more young families who want the lifestyle of living near the water and the sense of community the area offers,” said Joyner. “One thing that attracted us to the Better Homes and Gardens brand is their emphasis on lifestyle and community. That is what our business has always been about.”
