CONROE, TX -- This sister duo are Hannah 11, and Katie, 10, and they were at Bartholet Home Furnishings, where their mother Sarah was raising supplies to send to North Carolina hurricane victims. They both attend a local Christian school. Katie’s favorite color is pink, and her favorite teacher is Ms. Bales. Her favorite sport is golf, and takes after her father, who is a golfer as well. She also does tumbling, which is like gymnastics without the apparatuses, of which she has not fallen on her head once, which is good. Hanna plays volleyball at school. Her favorite subject is math. She also plays golf, and would like to play with the Ladies Professional Golf Association, or LPGA. Hanna’s favorite golf teacher is Coach Ron, and her best friends are Sharon and Audrey. Both young ladies would like to be Interior Designers like their mother. Katie’s best friends are Leni, Ava, Isadora, Julia.

When the hurricane supplies were being donated to send to North Carolina, Katie leaped (or may have tumbled) into action. She said that she really wanted to help the hurricane victims, and especially the kids who may have lost their clothes and toys. Katie directed everyone on where the supply bins for everything was, making sure the soaps, toothpaste and brushes, etc. went into the proper boxes. She was very excited to help and organize the supplies to be ready for shipment back east. Katie plans on doing more volunteer work, and claims to be a better organizer than her sister. Although Hannah claims to run faster. No matter what, they should be proud to have helped in getting the hurricane relief supplies to North Carolina, and everyone salutes you. Good Luck Hannah and Katie, and Congratulations on being ‘Kids of the Week’.
