    General Maintenance – Packard International Inc.

    Job Title: General Maintenance Technician – Full Time
    Location: Packard International Inc, Conroe, TX
    About: Packard International designs and manufactures several iterations of Top Drive Valves and F-Cup Testers that support a global market.

    Job Summary - The General Maintenance person performs a wide variety of tasks to keep our facility’s operation running smoothly while enhancing our appearance. Skillsets should be varied, and person must have excellent trouble shooting skills and be very organized.
    Responsibilities include:
    • Basic repairs – fixtures, minor plumbing, minor electrical
    • PM (Preventive Maintenance) – plan, log, and track “timely” PM activities such as filter replacements, cleaning, and any other tasks that will keep our investments in good condition (following any manufacturer recommendations)
    • Troubleshooting – Recognize problems and fix them
    • Housekeeping – Clean floors, windows, bathrooms, walkways
    • Grounds – Keep grounds clean and free of debris. Mow & trim as needed
    Qualifications & Skills:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 3 to 5 Yrs experience is preferred. Formal training and certifications are helpful
    • Basic knowledge and experience with plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
    • Ability to work safely in all aspects of work. (Safe use of power tools & equipment)
    • Troubleshooting, ability to offer sensible recommendations and ideas
    • Ability to follow instructions
    • Self-motivated, having pride in quality and output. Ability to work with a team and ask for help when needed
    Compensation – Full-time position with competitive benefits. Pay will be competitive with experience and assessed with applicant’s qualifications.
