Half Baked Goodness Conroe will be opening in mid-December and is a family-owned bakery where good vibes and great treats are always on the menu! We’re looking for energetic, creative Shift Leads to join our fun-loving team. As a Shift Lead, you’ll get hands-on experience making mouthwatering cookies and other baked goods while delivering top-notch customer service. What You’ll Do

Our Shift Leads are the go-to leaders during scheduled shifts, responsible for managing daily operations and supporting the team to create a smooth, positive work environment. In this role, you’ll take on the responsibilities of a Baker while also overseeing attendance, daily operations, and reporting directly to the store owner. Ideal Shift Leads are proactive, organized, and strong communicators, with the ability to solve problems efficiently and handle stress with a calm, can-do attitude.

What We're Looking For

- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
- Supervise, assign tasks to, and evaluate staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Fold and prep boxes for daily needs.
- Train and coach new team members to ensure consistent quality and standards.
- Inspect equipment regularly, reporting repair or replacement needs.
- Approve work hours and create weekly schedules.
- Address and resolve customer and team member concerns with a positive approach.
- Assist with baking, including mixing dough and other prep work.
- Complete opening and closing duties for the bakery.
