Montgomery County Sheriff's Department marijuana seizure and arrest

CONROE, Texas -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit (SIU) conducted a narcotics investigation at a residence in the 400 Block of FM 3083 Conroe, Texas, October 29.

The SIU received a tip that marijuana was being grown inside the residence. Investigators recovered 120 plants growing inside the home as well as growing paraphernalia, a pistol, and several pounds of dried marijuana.

Three people were arrested and taken to jail for felony possession of marijuana 5 to 50 pounds.
